Season of our disquiet
The streets are ours

Rebellion
I'm the enemy
I am here to take you down
Bring you to your knees
I am here to take you down
Bring you to your knees
Rise up
Rise up, Citizen
Claim what is rightfully yours
Never surrender
Claim what is rightfully yours
Never surrender
Resistance
In times like these
Kings of men and kingdoms fall
Resist, live again
Kings of men and kingdoms fall
Resist, live again
Freedom
Gone without a trace
Free to learn to live again
Learn to love again
Free to learn to live again
Learn to love again
Subversion
You depend on us
And yet you feed us lies
The fall shall be great
And yet you feed us lies
The fall shall be great
Starborn
Children of stardust
Born of infinite maelstrom
Sacred disorder

Ode to Abe
Oppressive burden
Lifted by a man's pen stroke:
Emancipation.

Exile
Like the hummingbird
To shed gravity and soar
Elusive exile
Thanks to sunflowervlg for the breathtaking pic :)

Green haven of peace
Copse of mossy trees
Swaying limbs and flailing leaves
In the summer breeze
Thanks to nate-ely for the great pic :)

Nostalgia
Distilled desires
Wish for things that never were
Haunting nostalgia
Wish for things that never were
Haunting nostalgia
Toxic
Intoxicating
The smell of you in every
Dream I dream.
The smell of you in every
Dream I dream.

Knocking on Heaven's Door
Knocking on the sky
And listening to the sound:
It needs more cowbell.
Thanks to Gerguter for the mini clip!

You don't need to recycle
Or reuse so much.

Mad as a hatter
"Oh, you can't help that.
We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
Said the Cheshire cat.
Thanks to nightgrowler for the wicked illustration!

So shiny!
What being can resist
The irresistible gleam
Of polished chrome?
Thanks to Moonbeam13 for the cool pic :)

Launching my 30 days of creativity... 4 days late -_-'
Hey all,
Inspired by 30 Day of Creativity, I have pledged to create a little something every day for the 30 days of June 2011. As you'll note by the date, I'm starting a little late. But never fear! I shall make up for lost time... somehow.
As the title of my blog suggests, I intend to create a haiku each day (at least). One haiku will be inspired by the suggestions calendar found here. If ever inspiration strikes me more than once on any given day, I shall not stem the lyrical flow, but share it with you, faithful reader (Where are you? Been looking everywhere for you, you know.).
Without further ado, let's get creative!
